About BraMat

The International Conference on Materials Science and Engineering – BraMat represents one of the most important and traditionally scientific events of Materials Science and Engineering field in Romania, enjoying increasingly higher visibility at the international level.

The aim of the BraMat conference is to provide a platform for researchers, engineers, academicians as well as industrial professionals from all over the world to present their research results and development activities in Materials Science and Engineering. It also provides opportunities for the participants to exchange new ideas and application experiences, to establish business or research relations and to find other partners for future collaboration.

The Conference has been organized every other year at Transilvania University of Brasov, since 1999. The 13 edition, BRAMAT 2024, will be held between the 13th and 16th of March, 2024, in Brasov, Romania.

More than 150 participants have presented their work at every edition of the conference, which consisted of academic staff, researchers, doctoral students and professionals from Romania, Portugal, France, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Hungary, Turkey, Israel, Egypt, United States, Brazil. According to participants' assessments, the quality and prestige of the conference increased from one edition to another.
